Coordinate the allocation and utilization of operational resources to meet business demands and customer expectations.
Develop and oversee daily operational plans to ensure timely and efficient service execution.
Monitor resource availability, maintenance schedules, workforce requirements, and operational constraints to maintain service continuity.
Partner with internal teams to ensure appropriate staffing and resource allocation for ongoing and specialized activities.
Lead the preparation, coordination, and oversight of complex or high-priority operational initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments, operational reviews, and contingency planning to support safe and efficient execution of activities.
Monitor operational performance, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions when required.
Support emergency response and business continuity efforts by coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely resolution of operational challenges.
Drive optimal utilization of company assets while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, cost efficiency, and service quality.
Collaborate closely with commercial, finance, and support functions to align operational priorities with business objectives.
Ensure the accurate use of operational management systems and maintain high-quality data for planning, reporting, and billing purposes.
Serve as a key point of contact for customers and external stakeholders, addressing operational inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
Contribute to strategic initiatives, business expansion efforts, process improvements, and operational transformation projects.
Conduct regular site visits and engage with frontline teams to promote safety, operational excellence, employee wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
Prepare operational analyses, reports, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as required by the business.

Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)

A successful Operations Manager should have:

More than 5 years of experience in the maritime industry as Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
Solid understanding of Maritime Industry and International Maritime Legislations.
Strong abilities to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests.
Ability to work in a global business environment and in a matrix organization.
Fluent written and spoken Spanish. Advance written and spoken English.
Proficient in MS Office application.
Safety environment awareness.
Flexibility to frequent travel for short periods of time, as well as vessels if required.
